THE BEGINNING: THE FIRST “GHISOLFI” ICE CREAM PARLOUR IN MEDA

Our history begins when dad Alessandro and mum Fernanda inaugurated their
first ice cream parlour in Meda. At that time ingredients were slowly boiled
in a bain marie to be pasteurised to be then frozen manually through a continuous
and laborious work and brine chilled in a rudimentary vertical machine.

THE LEGENDARY MONDINI ICE CREAM PARLOUR

Mum Fernanda Mondini standing opposite her own legendary Mondini ice cream parlour.
This marks the beginning of that passion for ice cream which will give life to the Ghisolfi tradition.

THE GHISOLFI LABORATORY

The successful opening of 5 ice cream parlours is followed by
a centralised laboratory to serve ice cream parlours and more.
In the meantime, Fernanda’s sons Roberto and Ivan decide to
follow in their father’s footsteps and success.

ORGANIC ICE CREAM

Ghisolfi is the creator of the first organic ice cream thoroughly
researching its raw materials and fully embracing the philosophy
of natural ice cream.
Today the Ghisolfi ice cream brand is recognised and highly appreciated
both in Italy and abroad.
